Is this a good plan for a future in environmental law?
I’ve been told for a long time that I should somehow combine my love for nature with my ability to argue. I figured that if I wanted to do this that I should go to school for a B.S in Biology with a concentration in Ecology and Environmental Biology and then go to a law school. Is this a good plan? Even if law school doesn’t work out is it possible to get a job with a degree like this? Thanks.
This definitely sounds like a good plan. You could then use your law degree to either practice environmental law or to become a lobbyist representing environmental issues. However, I would suggest you intern at a firm that does this to see if this is really what you want to do before you spend that much time and money on law school.
Your bachelor’s could also be in chemistry.
