Is it legal to take donations to pay for attorney fees for a case?
I want to put up a website and on myspace what happened and why and take donations to help pay for the court and attorney fees?
What is the legal on this.
Its about an entrapment case on a disabled person.
Yes, it is legal but make sure you have some accountability in place. For example, have a third party control access to the funds and the distribution. Someone very trustworthy obviously. But it shouldn’t be you or the person who you are trying to help.
