ny law

I'd like the NY law how a school bus has to stop at a one-way street with five lanes in NYC?

My question is: If the bus has to block all lanes when you load and unload or its enough to turn red lights? also where I can find about this law? Thanks

When a stopped school bus flashes its red light (s), traffic approaching from any direction, even in front of the school and school parking lots, must stop before reaching the bus. You should allow at least 20 feet (6 m) from the bus. You can identify this bus for a "School Bus" sign lights red top, and the only yellow / orange. Before a school bus is stopped to load or unload passengers, the driver usually flash yellow warning lights. When you see them, slow down and be prepared to stop. Once a school bus stopped, you can not drive again until the red lights stop flashing or when the bus driver or a traffic officer waves you also the driver of a school bus carrying students may not turn right at any red light and all drivers must stop if the bus lights are on. This law applies on all roads in the state of New York. You should stop for a school bus, even if it is on the opposite side of a divided highway …………..
